Marketing requires an understanding of the product, the service, clientele, and marketplace, among other idiosynchrasies. Not only are language barriers a real problem when sourcing overseas, but the communication infrastructure poses great challenges.

American businesses, and consumers, often take for granted the philosophy that “the customer is always right.”  Unfortunately, this principle is not reciprocated throughout the world.  Without Yelp, local reputations, legal contracts, nor FTC regulations, there is less accountability.  We have heard of, and experienced for ourselves, the differences in work ethic, quality standards, and concern for the customer.
